A short break is any activity that gives a child or young person with special educational needs and disabilites a positive, enjoyable experience independently from their parents or carers that can help them to socialise, form friendships and spend time with supportive carers.
The services listed in this category have indicated they offer short breaks specifically for children and young people with additional needs.
More information on how to access short breaks and to download pdf versions of the short break activities available go to families.leicester.gov.uk/shortbreaks.
